I have been in Austin, TX visiting my brother and sister-in-law. My children all joined me there for the week. I have family from Sacramento, CA., NY,NY., and Tallahassee, FL. What a wonderful time surrounded with extremely special people.
OK, that is something about me (Susanne). What about the garden? Sheila (my sister-in-law) and I were able to do alittle winter gardening in their back yard. What a treat for me. Winter gardening is one of my favorite times to work/play in the gardens. We had some beautiful days to till up the beds, pull some weeds, uncover some of her rock walls, rake leaves for the compost beds, etc. It was awesome.
Gardening in the dead of winter....that's what I am talking about. It is a special time getting ready for spring planting.
Finally, my moments. My life is like a garden. Also something to do, till, uncover, rake, pull the weeds, prepare for the spring. I am loving the idea of 2010. I am so excited I can't stand it as I know there is really something special around the corner. I can't tell you what it is, I am not sure myself, but something is about to pop out of the ground.
